Donkey Basketball Fundraising Event

East Wheatfield, IN — Every fall for the past three years, United High School has invited 11th- and 12th-grade students, staff and alumni to participate in a fundraiser for the senior class — donkey basketball. Teams consist of no more than 10 people who play a short game of basketball while riding a donkey. All in all, four games were held. In the first round, the juniors played the alumni, and the juniors won. Then, the seniors played the staff, and the staff won. In the second round, the juniors played the staff, and the seniors played the alumni. The staff and the alumni won these games.  Overall, the staff team prevailed by winning both of their games.  The senior class raised almost $900 from this event and plans to use the money to help fund the senior class trip, graduation and the senior banquet.www.fundraising-ideas.org
