- A fundraising event, "Meet the Musher" was held last Friday
afternoon and evening at the Irish Times Pub and Restaurant. The event hoped to
raise $500 to help Tom Bauer enter two youths in the CopperDog 80 this coming
February. Bauer, who owns the Otter
River Sled Dog Training Center and Wilderness Adventure, developed a youth
musher program a number of years ago, which selects certain youths interested
