- The third annual “Sharky’s Shivering Slides” fundraiser at the Hatfield
Aquatic Center was the biggest and best one yet. Township commissioner Scott Brown reported on
a successful fundraiser Wednesday, and said $1,800 was raised for local
charities by the freezing-cold fundraiser.
“It was 17 degrees. The water temperature was 42 degrees, but 30
participants took the plunge, with friends and family watching from the pool
